Baselworld 2013: Sparkling Symphony - The eye and the dream.. The eye never grows weary… The dream is unending…
The eye belongs to the creator, the dream belongs to the woman while imagining herself draped in jewellery. The eye and the dream embody all the magic of this universe which puts to the forefront precious stones born in the telluric furnace of our planet and adorned with the colours of our world.
Season after season nature renews its palette of colours. One must know how to capture them in a never ending renewal of the trends which inspire both our Jewellery and Timepiece collections.
Our collection is a true symphonic poem, a thing of culture as well as of nature: inside is a mix of history and centuries, the influences and the myths of the greatest civilisations.
At the moment, we are living through a perpetual Renaissance, still with the same passion as before but with new emotions. It is true for the collections we present here and for our Ateliers: de GRISOGONO is opening a new page in its history by presenting a renewed selection of iconic pieces and rare gemstones.
Sparkling Symphony will be the symbol of this renewal. Even though we are only celebrating our first twenty years, the dream continues...
Tondo By Night
The novelties in the Tondo By Night Collection give us a new colour palette in hard shades and chromatic hyper-realism, between Lego bricks and Bauhaus rigour, with colours which would never exist without the glances of men and the dreams of women. After the brilliance of the first fluorescence, the collection treats itself to even more fantasy in the contrast of the "primary" colours, without giving up its photo-luminescent cases or the jewel-set oscillating weight placed on the dial. The blue of a Touareg shesh, the pine green of European forests or the slightly venomous red which promises us poison and delights, make a dent in the fashion for colours with light that is too bright.
Instrumentino Collection
The colours of the new Instrumentino Collection stylise life and make its light pastel. If the double arabesque of the hours on the dial create an open lock on time, in its mother-of-pearl pallor or its shadowy depths, the topping of gem stones reminds us of Byzantine mosaics and cabinets of curiosities belonging to the mineralogists of the past. The Russian Tsarina had her famous Amber Cabinet in the castle of Tsarskoye Selo. Now there will be cabinets of amethysts, pink sapphires and even orange sapphires. The stones create a velour which, by the skill of the setting and the grain of the matching bracelets, underline the volumes of a watch that is open to the world with its two time displays.
