Baselworld 2014: Oktopus Moonlite

Baselworld 2014: Oktopus Moonlite

Much like its namesake creature engraved on the backcase, the Linde Werdelin Oktopus is able to go down to great depths and adapt seamlessly to its environment.

With the Oktopus MoonLite, that idea is taken to the next level, as the colourless ALW* used for the case construction -while somewhat otherworldly and very industrial-looking at first glance- slightly reflects its immediate surroundings once you look a little closer.

What’s more, the Oktopus MoonLite is the lightest LW watch ever produced, weighing in at an impressive 62,5 grams total for case and movement.

The photorealistic moons now have a deep-blue full-moon indicator.

Satin, polished and microbille finishing can be found on the ALW throughout.

Finally, the new signature white rubber strap is an added touch along with other small details, making this timepiece truly unique.
