In 2014, true to its iconic, avant-garde watch construction principles, Concord takes the playfully sleek signature design and cutting-edge function associated with the C2 family into a new, remarkably accessible realm with the launch of the C2 Big Date in Quartz.
Distinguished by a 43mm diameter stainless steel case with screw-down crown and stainless steel pushers, the C2 Big Date captivates with a newly designed multi-layered dial. Available in black and silver variations, the dial reveals an oversized black-on-white date window at 12 o’clock and is enhanced with subtle embossing, and illuminated by Super-LumiNova-coated rhodium-plated hour markers, and asymmetrically hollowed-out rhodium-plated dauphine hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova detail.
Powered by a brand new, cutting-edge Calibre Quartz Ronda 11 1/2''' 6003.B movement housed within its substantial case, the C2 exudes its strong character through a fascinating combination of angles and curves arranged in harmoniously balanced proportions.
Concord’s lug-free attachments, in the shape of horizontal tubular forms embedded into the case, further accentuate the smoothly integrated look and feel of the wristband. Firmly secured inside the case, the bracelet thereby becomes an inseparable and essential part of the design, thus ensuring an ideal flow, a perfect fit on the wrist, and a unique rendering. The visible screws reinforce the industrial nature of the construction, while the strongbox-shaped back of the case, which is water-resistant to 100 meters, protects the state-of-the-art quartz movement which boasts a 40-month battery life.
