The sporty elegance of the DS-2 comes from a subtle blend of design elements, such as its brushed/polished 41mm 316L stainless-steel case and aluminium tachymeter-scale bezel. A rounded anti-reflective sapphire crystal opens onto a black dial with contrasting bright-green (or yellow) chronograph hands and 1/100^ths scale markings. The two-tone HM hands wear a thin line of white Superluminova over black, with similar elements used on the indices, to enhance yet further a deeply sporty character.The DS-2 Chronograph boldly shows the imprint of its kinship with the world of sport and motorsport in particular. Both sectors have a long-standing alliance with the CERTINA brand name. The watch features well-known CERTINA reliability thanks to the DS Concept. It is also water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m), emphasised by the presence of an embossed turtle emblem on its case-back, a historical CERTINA symbol of water-resistance, robustness and long life. The watch is equipped with a leather strap with green or yellow stitching (according to model) and a folding buckle with twin push-buttons.
